Approdare a San Fruttuoso in una calda sera d’estate per godere della bellezza della musica nell’affascinante atmosfera notturna dell’antico chiostro dell’Abbazia è davvero un’esperienza unica, nonché una profonda emozione. Il successo della rassegna naturalmente non è casuale: particolare cura è stata da sempre riservata nella scelta delle formazioni cameristiche e del programma proposto, che va dalla musica medievale al jazz.La XXIV edizione dei Concerti all’Abbazia presenta quest’anno un ricco programma, dal 23 luglio al 20 agosto. Tutti i concerti sono a pagamento e prevedono posti a sedere sui due livelli del chostro. Durante l’intervallo è possibile visitare l’Abbazia.

16 AGOSTO ore 21.30 - Luna Quart in Musica italiana anni ’20-’40: Susanna Gozzetti (voce), Simona Fasano (voce), Luca Falomi (chitarra), Edmondo Romano (fiati), Pietro Martinelli (contrabbasso): Viaggio nel repertorio musicale sentimentale ed ironico dagli anni ’20 agli anni ’40. In questo concerto si rivisitano pezzi italiani resi famosi dai talenti canori dell’epoca: il Trio Lescano, Natalino Otto, Alberto Rabagliati, Wando Osiris, Fedora Mingarelli, Ada Neri, Silvana Fioresi
In caso di mare agitato il concerto sarà rimandato al 17 agosto.

Il Covo di Nord Est è il locale italiano più famoso al mondo, unico sia per l’impareggiabile posizione sulla costa del golfo di Portofino, sia per la sua storia artistica e mondana. Nel corso degli anni si sono esibiti tutti gli artisti più importanti del panorama italiano e mondiale ed è stato frequentato dai personaggi più eminenti e conosciutidel jet set.

La struttura comprende lo stabilimento balneare, il Covo e il Covino, e dispone di due piste da ballo, cinque bar e quattro ristoranti.

Il corpo centrale del locale è appunto il Covo, che è costituito da una parte all’aperto e da una coperta. Ospita la consolle principale, dove si alternano i dj resident, ma anche numerosi e sempre illustri e prestigiosi ospiti.

Sempre al coperto, il bellissimo bancone del bar, mentre la parte all’aperto è rappresentata dall’ampia pista da ballo e dal privè che ogni anno cambia la sua conformazione.

Eleganza e classe, senza mai strafare. La stessa di camerieri e maître, tutti sempre e rigorosamente in divisa, e con tanto di giacca e cravatta. Lo “stile Covo” impareggiabile, adottato infine anche dal sempre discreto ma attento servizio di sicurezza.

A half marathon, 21.097 kilometers immersed in one of the most beautiful in Italy: on the one hand, the sound of the sea, one the other side the green pines of Mount Portofino.

Competition, full of competitive spirit, where every athlete is encouraged to improve their time and to aspire to long-awaited victory.

The International Half Marathon of two pearls has in his Hall of Fame the leading interpreters of the Italian marathon: Stefano Baldini, James Leone, Ottavio Andriani, Daniele Meucci, Ruggero Pertile, Dennis Curzi, Daniele Caimmi and in the women’s Bruna Genovese, Ornella Ferrara Valeria Straneo, Emma Quaglia, Gloria Mancini.

No shortage of thousands of runners, from all Italian regions, they are the real soul of this half marathon.

The route, relatively flat, with interesting curves and very light gradients, makes it even more technical, departing from Santa Margherita Ligure.

The race takes place in one of the most suggestive scenery in the world, with breathtaking views, such as the passage to ‘Cervara Abbey, to the Bay of Paraggi, the square of Portofino and the wonderful arrival in the gardens to the sea of Santa Margherita Ligure.

To all participants of the International Half Marathon of Two Pearls a warm welcome from the staff organization who, together with the athletes, is aimed to make this event a ‘memorable and spectacular day of sport in the midst of incomparable natural beauties.

Genova: le Strade Nuove e il Sistema dei Palazzi dei Rolli

In July 16th 2006 ”Genova: le Strade nuove e il sistema dei palazzi dei Rolli” became inscribed as a World Heritage Site.
It preserves a unitary urban framework of the late-Renaissance and Baroque periods of more than 100 palaces of the noble families of Genoa. The grand residences, each one with its own architectural solution and individual character, were part of an official list (the Rolli) and randomly chosen to host visitors of the State. The palazzi, often erected on sloping ground, feature an atrium-courtyard-grand staircase-garden sequence and a wealth of internal decoration. They represent a specific social and economic identity which marked the beginning of the modern era of urban architecture in Europe.
